- start collecting some decorations
- decorating your table
- DIY ideas
Last year my theme was black and silver. This year I am looking at white and Scandi. Scandi style is now very popular so you will find lots of items for sale in this style.
Think winter in Northern lands, spruce fir trees, simple wooden designs, snowflakes, reindeers, pure white, cool and elegant, sparkling snow! The minimalist lines of Scandi and the winter/frosty look of white and silver. With this theme, I can then use the leftover silver items from last year. First collect all your white, glass and light wood items, anything that speaks of the Nordic climes! Then you can dress them up with pine cones, silver or white spray painted vases, white votive candles, fairy or icicle lights, various simple plant cuttings, mossy twigs, sparkles and soft textures etc.
Use simple white fairy or icicle lights to bring a wintery snow theme to your room. These can be purchased online from the Christmas Lights Store
